Blood Angels: Angels of death List
i am in two minds about how to proceed with my blood angels army wether i go for a black army with gold characters i.e dante or sanguinor but the sanguinary guard or the normal marines are in black like the death company i will probably get some minis painted and then have a look at what to do next!!

burnout
i am on painting burnout at the moment and am taking a break from stuff at the moment. i am thinking of making some stuff from plasticard and also working on a ww2 aeroplane 1/72nd scale game.

blood angels lists
so i had a few thoughts about the new codex and after reading it have come up with a few army list that will create 1 an angelic host and two a very shooty mech army
list one
dante 225
5x sanguinary guard 200

with this army they all have the decent of angels so this means they will only deepstrike d6" away from there first point which is awesome also dante doesn't scatter at all which is cool. because dante is in the army the other than him they are all troops to capture objectives and with the sang guard having 2+ save initially they are a lot harder to kill. all the infernus pistols are great as well as when they deepstrike they will be no more than 6 " away so can get blasting turn one and do some damamge.

this is a bit of a mix of assault and heavy gun line what i was basically thinkg with this was roll the three baal pred up and attack squads with lots of bolter and assault cannon shells also purg areas with the flamestorm cannon and heavy flamers then from afar hit haveier targets with the devastsators final the storm raven can deploy and pound the enemy as well as deploying death company and assault marines also dante will then be able to jump in with sanguinary guard and mop up and help those units faltering.
as always these are only ideas on paper as we all now when it gets to the battlefield the dice are veryb fickle.

so i have jumped on the band wagon and started to add to my 3000pts of blood angels with a sanguinary guard box set and a death company and have to say they are amazing and i will be doing a vid to show how they were painted and hopefully a bat rep

space wolves extras
so i have expanded my listto 2500pts with a land raider crusader and two drop pods so fingers crossed that would help

Batrep: space wolves vs ultra marines
space wolves vs ultra marines
capture and hold, spearhead 500 points
the only change i made for this game from my last was the dreadnought
his list
chaplain
5 terminators inc landraider redeemer
2 10 man tac squad
dreadnought
vindicator
scout sniper squad inc telion
thunderfire cannon
turn 1
is my oppoonents and he sends his redemmer up against lukas and his bloodclaws and assaults his terminators and chaplain out, he moves his dreadnought out of cover and his vindicator advances. in the terminators assault he wipes out the blood claws with lightning claws and power swords which leaves lukas alone he fails morale check and falls back is caught and slain but no heart detonation. subsequently i charge in the wolf guard and canis and wipe out his terminators, my dread nought charges his land raider and stuns in close combat
turn 2 my terminators get back in the landraider and shoot along the long edge towards his objective which th landraider kills the vindicator from behind with las cannon fire canis charges the dreadnought and destroys it from rending ability.
turn 3 i loose 4 grey hunters at this point to the thunderfire cannon but canis charges the landraider and rends it and destroys it the two squads of tac marines slowly die from termi assault and fire from predator and devastators
this all ends turn 6 with him having nothing left to fight
another good showing from th wolves

Batrep: Space Wolves vs Chaos`

he got first turn and deployed the berserkers, kharn and the defiler
i put everything on the table except the guard as they were in the land raider.the roll for initiative was next and i won that so i ran the blood claws just outside charge range of his berserkers and canis the opposite flank after tur two all he had left was 10 terminators and 3 obliteratorsand his chaos lord. canis died taking 10 berserkers out and 2 wounds off kharn lukas and the bloodclaws had taken the other 10 with the loss of two blood claws the defiler fell to the long fangsin total at this point i had lost 2 bloodclaws and canis not bad
turn 4
his lord turned up and got knocked over by lascannon fire from the landraider i moved the blood claws to his objective.
turn 5
obliterators deep strike right next to my objective and take out my vindicator big mistake left out in the open i fire a landraider long fangs, predator,and grey hunters at them taking two down,the last one fell to my wolfguard with 11 attacks from power weapons and 6 hitting home his save rolls where abismol and the last obliterator dissapeared so i had his and mine in the end.

space wolves back on the table
i have gone back to space wolves and blood angels as i have topped up the two armies. The space wolves have had some heavy choices added in the way of a predator and a devastator squad. the blood angels are going to be bolstered on april with a new codex and lots of shiny new models so i have bought dante and corbulo to keep the models in the prosperity they deserve pictures will be posted as soon as painted.

Eldar vs Necron
so i went to the bedford gladiators club on monday and faced off against a necron force which consisted of the following:-
2 lords warscythe and ressi orbs
45 necron warriors
5 scarab swarms
4 destroyers
2 tomb spyders
total 1500pts
eldar list consists of:-
autarch on jetbike
5 fire dragons plus an exarch
5 howling banshees plus an exarch
6 jetbikes inc warlock with witchblade
8 dire avengers inc exarch
wave serpent
8 dire avengers inc exarch
2 vypers
2 falcons
so the mission was dawn of war annihalation
i went first and deployed only 1 falcon and 1 wave serpent in my corner he deployed all his on the opposite side first two turns not muched happen i took out all his destroyers and his scarab swarms but then cam those bloody gause weapons and his rolls of 6 on armour pen i lost both falcons and then the assualt was shocking so i should stand back an shoot in future just stay out of the way. i killed 38 necrons over the last 3 turns but all but 6 of them got back up they were brutal on there rolls
end game score necrons 6 eldar 3 (should of been 20 but those bloody ressi orbs are crap)
so i will post the progress of the eldar and hopefully people will read how terrible i am at 40k and then send me advise

new project
So the new year has come year has come and i have a new project yes thats right a new armyt this time its 2500 points of eldar and they are awesome so i will keep everyone posted on the progress
